Eric Nicolassy Suspended by FINRA for Alleged Excessive and Unsuitable Trading
Eric Nicolassy was a licensed broker with Woodstock Financial Group, Inc. (CRD#:38095).
According to FINRA: Between August 2018 and July 2019, while associated with Woodstock Financial Group, Nicolassy engaged in excessive and unsuitable trading in the account of an 83-year-old retired real estate broker.
Nicolassy recommended that the customer place 137 trades in his account and the customer accepted Nicolassy’s recommendations. As a result of Nicolassy’s unsuitable recommendations, the customer suffered more than $125,000 in losses.
Eric Nicolassy Consented to the Imposition of the Following FINRA Sanctions:
A four-month suspension from associating with any FINRA member in all capacities and partial restitution in the amount of $32,134.09.
