Elva Alvarez – Customer Dispute Filed Involving Financial Advisor/Broker Elva Alvarez | Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Loss
Elva Alvarez a/k/a Maria Elva Alvarez is a previously licensed financial advisor/broker with Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC and Investment Professionals Inc.
According to Elva Alvarez’ BrokerCheck Report, a customer dispute has been filed alleging sales practice violations against Elva Alvarez.
Customer Dispute 7/30/20: Claimant alleges that on or about April 2018 his IPI advisor solicited and recommended an outside investment of $500,000 in “diesel.” Claimant alleges that he has not been repaid the $500,000 nor received any earnings from it. In addition, he alleges that he incurred tax liabilities of at least $200,000 in connection with the investment. Claimant’s causes of action are negligence; negligent supervision; negligent hiring/retention; breach of fiduciary duty, and joint venture/joint enterprise liability. This customer dispute requested $700,000 in damages.
