STEVEN KIYOTO HIRATA (CRD#: 1188927), a formerly registered broker for PFS INVESTMENTS INC., in Fresno, CA,  has been barred by FINRA from selling securities.  According to Hirata’s FINRA BrokerCheck report, Hirata consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he failed to provide information and documents requested by FINRA in connection with an investigation into whether he participated in an undisclosed private securities transaction.

A customer complaint that resulted in a public award was brought against Hirata for the sale of unapproved, alleged PONZI scheme, JMJ Capital Group.   The customer was awarded  $984,600.00 in compensatory damages, but Hirata has not paid the award.   Steven Hirata faces another FINRA regulatory action for the unpaid FINRA arbitration award.
