ROBERT GERALD STEIN SUSPENDED FROM SECURITIES INDUSTRY – GOODMAN & NEKVASIL P.A, MAY RECOVER YOUR INVESTMENT LOSSES

GOODMAN & NEKVASIL P.A, MAY RECOVER YOUR INVESTMENT LOSSES – ROBERT GERALD STEIN SUSPENDED FROM SECURITIES INDUSTRY

Robert Stein was suspended from the securities and investment banking industry for 3 months by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in February 2016 for recommending unsuitable purchases of reverse convertible notes totaling approximately $4 million. Robert Stein consented to findings that most of the purchasers were over the age of 60 and had modest or conservative investment objectives and risk profiles. Furthermore, Robert Stein consented to findings that all the customers’ accounts were heavily concentrated in reverse convertible notes, with the amounts of these investments constituting a substantial portion of their net worth.

FINRA reports that two previous arbitration claims were filed alleging unsuitable investments by Robert Stein while employed by Capitol Securities Management. These claims against Robert Stein were settled for $102,000 and $30,000.  If you lost any money on investments with Robert Stein while he was employed with Capitol Securities Management, Inc. you may be able to recover your losses from Capitol Securities Management, Inc. This is because Capitol Securities Management, Inc. had a duty to supervise Robert Stein.

We would like to discuss the possibility of your retaining our firm to represent you in an arbitration action against Capitol Securities Management, Inc. concerning Robert Stein’s conduct. There is no charge for an evaluation of your case. Further, we handle our cases on a contingency fee basis. This means that unless we recover money for you, we charge no attorney’s fee. Unless you recover any money, you pay us nothing, not even the costs and expenses which the firm will advance on your behalf.

Kalju Nekvasil, Esq., formerly regional counsel with the NASD, now known as FINRA, has practiced in this area of the law for more than 35 years. Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. has recovered more than $170 million on behalf of victimized investors. If you lost money on investments with Robert Stein and would like your case evaluated by a securities attorney (again, there is no charge for an evaluation and all cases are handled on a purely contingency fee basis), please contact us.
