Robert Basile (Bob Basile) was a formerly licensed financial advisor with Park Avenue Securities LLC and Waddell & Reed. FINRA reports that Robert Basile (Bob Basile) was barred from the securities industry on November 16, 2018. FINRA reports that that Robert Basile (Bob Basile) consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Robert Basile (Bob Basile) converted over $130,000 from Robert Basile’s (Bob Basile’s) elderly mother’s brokerage account at his member firm, without Robert Basile’s (Bob Basile’s) mother’s knowledge or consent. The findings stated that while Robert Basile (Bob Basile) served as the broker on Robert Basile’s (Bob Basile’s) mother’s account, Robert Basile (Bob Basile) withdrew the funds from the account and used it to pay his own living expenses.
