Paul Mauceli, Financial Advisor Paul Mauceli Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses

Paul Mauceli CRD #2330829

Paul Mauceli is a currently licensed financial advisor with Reef Securities, Inc. According to Paul Mauceli’s CRD, Paul Mauceli was suspended from the securities industry in May 2018 and fined $5,000.

According to FINRA:

Paul Mauceli consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that acting through Mauceli, his member firm failed to timely notify investors of a right of rescission following the issuance of an updated general partners audited balance sheet and approval of a revised prospectus. The findings stated that the firm served as the broker dealer selling an oil and gas drilling and income fund limited partnership for an issuer. Acting through Paul Mauceli and the issuer, the firm decided not to send the revised prospectus and a notice offering each investor an opportunity to confirm or rescind his or her investment decision, despite the requirements of the prospectus, due to low prices in the oil and gas market. Later, FINRA discovered that the firm had not provided the revised prospectus and notice to the vast majority of the investors in the income fund. After FINRA raised the issue, the firm eventually sent the revised prospectus and notice to the remaining investors, whereupon several investors rescinded their investment.

According to Paul Mauceli’s CRD, a customer dispute was filed alleging sales practice violations against Paul Mauceli including an alleged unsuitable investment. According to Paul Mauceli’s CRD, this customer dispute is pending and seeks $50,000.
