NICHOLAS STEPHEN COUBROUGH (CRD#: 4678755), a previously employed investment adviser for JEFFERIES INVESTMENT ADVISERS LLC in Miami, FL, consented to a a bar from associating with any FINRA member in all capacities.
Without admitting or denying the findings, Coubrough consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to provide documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into a regulatory tip and the allegations contained in a Form U5 submitted by his member firm. The findings stated that the firm filed the Form U5 on Coubrough’s behalf disclosing that it had terminated his association for seeking improper payments from his team in exchange for not disclosing that they were engaging in off-channel business communications and engaging in and deleting off-channel business communications.
