Goodman & Nekvasil P.A, May Recover Investor Losses – Walter Priebe Fired by Investacorp, Inc.
From 1989 to 2014, Walter Priebe was licensed with Investacorp, Inc. Walter Priebe is now licensed with Newbridge Securities Corporation. According to FINRA’s records Walter Priebe was fired from Investacorp, Inc. on July 1, 2014. Investacorp, Inc. reported to FINRA that Walter Priebe acted in a fiduciary and discretionary capacity, had check writing privileges for numerous clients, and was named as a beneficiary in three clients’ accounts.
Subsequent to Walter Priebe’s firing by Investacorp, Inc. FINRA investigated Walter Priebe and brought a disciplinary action against Walter Priebe. Walter Priebe consented to a 6-month suspension from the securities and investment banking industry and a $25,000 fine. Walter Priebe also consented to findings that Walter Priebe engaged in outside business activities in which he acted in a fiduciary capacity for various trusts without providing notice to his member firm and without obtaining approval in accordance with the firm’s procedures. The FINRA findings also stated that Walter Priebe made false representations regarding Walter Priebe’s outside business activities on his firm’s annual compliance questionnaires.
