Terry Dean Bahgat (Tarek Bahgat) Formerly Licensed with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., Barred from Securities Industry and Accused of Theft – Goodman & Nekvasil P.A, May Recover Investor Losses

From 2010 until 2015, Tarek Bahgat was licensed with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Tarek Bahgat was then licensed with Gradient Securities, LLC.

FINRA brought a disciplinary action against Tarek Bahgat in 2017. Tarek Bahgat was barred from the securities industry for failing to respond to FINRA requests for information.

FINRA also reports that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a complaint against Tarek Bahgat alleging that he misappropriated money from seven of his investment advisory clients, many of whom were senior citizens. The SEC also alleges that in some instances, Tarek Bahgat, by obtaining internet bill-paying privileges, impersonated his clients in telephone calls with broker-dealers holding the client accounts and caused money to be transferred from his clients’ accounts to himself or to a company Tarek Bahgat controlled. The complaint is currently pending.
