Sonya Camarco Discharged from LPL Financial LLC | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A., May Recover Investment Losses

From 2004 until Sonya Camarco’s firing in 2017, Sonya Camarco was licensed with LPL Financial LLC. According to FINRA’s records, Sonya Camarco was discharged by LPL Financial LLC on August 9, 2017. LPL Financial LLC reported to FINRA that Sonya Camarco was fired for depositing third party checks from client accounts into a bank account she controlled, and accessing client funds for personal use.
Following Sonya Camarco’s firing by LPL Financial LLC, the SEC filed an action alleging that Sonya Camarco misappropriated over $2.8 million in investor funds from Sonya Camarco’s clients and customers.
FINRA reports that an arbitration claim involving Sonya Camarco’s conduct with LPL Financial LLC has been filed alleging misappropriation of funds and forgery.
