Goodman & Nekvasil P.A, May Recover Your Investment Losses – Sheik Firdosh Khan Found Guilty of Securities Fraud

Sheik Khan was licensed with Ameritas Investment Corp. from May 2002 to December 2013. On March 22, 2017, a jury returned a verdict finding Sheik Khan guilty of Title 15, United States Code, Section 78j(b); and Title 18, United States Code, Section 371, 1343, 1349, and 1621. The indictment charged, among other things, that Sheik Khan committed securities and investment advisor fraud by, among other things, falsely telling prospective investors that their investments in private offerings of VGTel, Inc. would benefit from perspective reverse-mergers between VGTel, Inc. and private companies, even though no merger would ever be consummated, scheming to control and manipulate the publicly traded price of VGTel, Inc. stock to inflate the price and increase the trading volume of VGTel, Inc. stock, scheming to induce investors to invest in private shares of VGTel, Inc. through false and misleading statements, and causing her clients to invest in VGTel, Inc., including clients who had not authorized such an investment, in exchange for receiving kickback payments that were not disclosed to those clients. Sheik Khan received more than $400,000 from Edward Durante, the mastermind of this fraudulent scheme. Sheik Khan’s clients lost virtually all the money they invested in the VGTel, Inc.
