Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Your Investment Losses – Scott Edward Nuttall (Scott Nuttall) Licensed with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., Suspended from Securities Industry
Scott Nuttall has been licensed with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. since 2014. Scott Nuttall was previously licensed with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Scott Nuttall was fined $5,000 and suspended for 45 days from the securities and investment banking industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). FINRA reports that Scott Nuttall consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that Scott Nuttall failed to timely amend Scott Nuttall’s form U4 to disclose two judgments.
FINRA reports that three complaints and/or arbitration claims were filed involving Scott Nuttall’s conduct with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, alleging suitability, misrepresentation, fraud, unauthorized trading, failure to execute, breach of fiduciary duty, and/or violation of general business law Sec. 349. These complaints and/or arbitration claims all settled, with the largest settling for $152,500. Scott Nuttall contributed $35,000 to this settlement.
FINRA also reports that an arbitration claim involving Scott Nuttall’s conduct with a previous firm was settled for $75,000.
FINRA also reports that Scott Nuttall entered into nine compromises with creditors. In the most recent reported compromise, Scott Nuttall settled a $12,715.11 debt to Chase for $3,600 in June 2015.
