FINRA reports that Randall Samson consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Randall Samson converted $10,000 from the 401(K) account of an employee. The findings stated that without the employee’s knowledge or consent, Randall Samson used Randall Samson’s position as the plan’s trustee to complete a $10,000 distribution from the 401(K) account to Randall Samson’s personal bank account. According to FINRA, Randall Samson used the proceeds to fund payroll and other overhead expenses for Randall Samson’s company.
