Pranav Patel has been licensed with Dawson James Securities, Inc., Columbus Advisory Group, LTD., CBG Financial Group, Inc. and National Securities Corporation. According to FINRA, the SEC reported that Pranav Patel pleaded guilty to one count of securities fraud on September 12, 2016.

Subsequent to Pranav Patel’s guilty plea, the SEC reported to FINRA that Pranav Patel was barred by the SEC on September 29, 2017 from the securities industry. The SEC reported to FINRA that the Commission’s Complaint alleged that Pranav Patel received cash kickbacks in return for recommending and inducing Pranav Patel’s customers to buy stock in ForceField Energy, Inc. without disclosing the kickbacks to Pranav Patel’s customers. The Complaint further alleged that Pranav Patel attempted to conceal communications with other participants in the fraudulent scheme by using encrypted, content-expiring messaging apps, and otherwise engaged in a variety of conduct which operated as a fraud and deceit on investors.
