From 2010 until Michael Dellaporta Jr.’s firing in 2015, Michael Dellaporta Jr. was licensed with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Michael Dellaporta Jr. is now licensed with Fusion Analytics Securities, LLC. According to FINRA’s records, Michael Dellaporta Jr. was fired by Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. on June 23, 2015. Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. reported to FINRA that Michael Dellaporta Jr. was terminated for company policy violations related to unauthorized use of discretion, solicitation of fixed income securities not meeting firm rating requirements, solicitation of prohibited option trading levels, and mismarking trade tickets as unsolicited.
Prior to Michael Dellaporta Jr.’s firing by Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., FINRA reports that three arbitration claims were filed alleging excessive trading on margin in unsuitable investments, unsuitable transactions, and/or overconcentration. These claims involving Michael Dellaporta Jr.’s conduct were settled for $375,000, $150,000, and $52,500. Michael Dellaporta Jr. paid the entirety of the $150,000 settlement.
