Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses – Jon Mark Dabareiner (Jon Dabareiner) Suspended from Securities Industry, Formerly Licensed with Concord Wealth Partners and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
From 1988 until Jon Dabareiner’s resignation in 2013, Jon Dabareiner was licensed with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. According to FINRA’s records, Jon Dabareiner permitted to resign from Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. on February 6, 2013. Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. reported to FINRA that Jon Dabareiner was permitted to resign following firm finding of company policy violation related to reusing client signatures.
According to FINRA’s records, Jon Dabareiner resigned from Concord Wealth Partners on September 25, 2017. Concord Wealth Partners reported to FINRA that Jon Dabareiner was the subject of an internal review as it appeared that Jon Dabareiner may have engaged in activities in violation of certain industry rules and standards.
Subsequent to Jon Dabareiner’s resignation from Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., FINRA investigated Jon Dabareiner and brought a disciplinary action against Jon Dabareiner. Jon Dabareiner consented to a 1 month suspension from the securities and investment banking industry and a $5,000 fine. Jon Dabareiner also consented to the entry of findings that Jon Dabareiner or others acting on Jon Dabareiner’s behalf copied customer signatures from one document and pasted them onto another document, or used documents from one transaction to effectuate another transaction by altering the date. The findings stated that in one such instance two customers signed an account transfer and direct rollover form to transfer securities held elsewhere into their joint account at Jon Dabareiner’s member firm. FINRA reports that on the same day, John Dabareiner copied their signatures from this form three times to effect three additional transfers of their securities from other entities or brokerage firms.
FINRA reports that six complaints and/or arbitration claims have been filed involving Jon Dabareiner’s conduct with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. f/k/a American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., alleging misrepresentation, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, unauthorized trading, breach of contract, fraud, negligence, vicarious liability, failure disclose risks, and/or other allegations. These complaints and/or arbitration claims all settled, with the largest settling for $150,000, $140,000, and $115,000.
