Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses – David Charles De Young (Dave De Young) Formerly Licensed with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Ordered to Pay $78,000 in Restitution by the State of Hawaii 

Dave De Young was licensed with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. from 2011 to 2017. FINRA reports that the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs ordered Dave De Young to pay $78,000 in restitution and $10,000 in investigative costs. The State of Hawaii reported to FINRA that the consent order alleged that the sale of a security to Hawaii residents did not correspond to their needs and/or Dave De Young did not fully inform them of the risks associated with the purchase.

FINRA also reports that a complaint was filed involving Dave De Young’s conduct with a prior employer, alleging misrepresentation. This complaint was settled for $78,000.
