Since 1987, Chris Howard has been licensed with PFS Investments Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
FINRA reports that the State of Nevada Securities Division brought an enforcement action against Chris Howard in 2012. Chris Howard consented to a $60,000 monetary fine. The State of Nevada alleged that Chris Howard failed to disclose and obtain written approval from Chris Howard’s firm prior to receiving compensation from an outside motivational speaker in connection with seminars that Primerica/PFS Representatives paid a fee to attend, and failed to adhere to the requirements of NASD Rule 3030 and/or FINRA rule 3270 by making certain introductions and receiving monetary and non-monetary compensation from Fidel iSOFT, Inc., without prompt and/or prior written approval from the firm.
FINRA reports seven arbitration claims/complaint were filed alleging sales practice violations against Chris Howard. The claims were all filed by co-investors in a non-public company who lost money. The claims were settled, the highest settlement being $331,695.33, of which Chris Howard contributed the entire settlement.
