MUHAMMAD USMAN Has An Investor Complaint – Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A., May Recover Investor Losses
MML INVESTORS SERVICES, LLC broker, MUHAMMAD USMAN has an investor complaint.
MUHAMMAD USMAN (CRD#: 4989336), a registered broker for MML INVESTORS SERVICES, LLC in New York, NY, has a denied investor complaint. According to Usman’s FINRA BrokerCheck report, Customer’s allege the two separate non-securities Life Insurance policies they purchased in December 2018 and March 2019 respectively, were originally understood to have no additional premiums that would be due since they were rolling over variable life insurance policies held with an outside third party firm. Customers further allege that they understood that they would collect $3,000 monthly beginning at age 65.
According to FINRA, an investment professional and their firm may decide that the customer’s complaint is unfounded and determine to “deny” the complaint. In such cases, the disposition on BrokerCheck will reflect “denied.” A customer may then decide to seek compensation for damages by filing a claim in arbitration. Alternatively, an investment professional and their firm may determine to settle a complaint by, for example, paying compensation to the customer. The existence of a complaint does not mean the investment professional did anything wrong. Similarly, a denial of wrongdoing by the investment professional does not always mean a complaint was unfounded.
