Michael Norman Financial Advisor Barred from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses
Michael Norman was a formerly licensed financial advisor with NYLife Securities, LLC. FINRA reports that Michael Norman was barred from the securities industry on November 30, 2018. FINRA reports that Michael Norman consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Michael Norman failed to provide documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into allegations that Michael Norman loaned money to a customer so that the customer could purchase securities.
FINRA also reports that a complaint was filed involving Michael Norman’s conduct with NYLife Securities, LLC, alleging that Michael Norman misrepresented the rate of return, failed to disclose associated fees, and provided unsuitable investment advice for a mutual fund transaction that took place in or around February 2016. This complaint was settled for $92,000.61.
