According to FINRA Allegations:

Between May 2017 and May 2018, Michael Nixon exercised discretionary trading authority on behalf of Michael Nixon’s customers without prior written authorization from the customers and written approval from Paulson Investment Company LLC, in violation of NASD Rule 2510(b) and FINRA Rule 2010.

According to Michael Nixon’s CRD:

An arbitration claim alleging sales practice violations against Michael Nixon was filed alleging violation of the Florida Securities Act, the Virginia Securities Act, common law fraud, securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, securities recommended and purchased were unsuitable, respondent negligently recommended unsuitable investments and negligently supervised representatives and investments, breach of contract, and Newport, Paulson and Onesto liability for their agent. Activities leading to the allegations occurred between 2013 to 2018. This customer dispute is pending and seeks $3,000,000 in damages.
