Mark Schklar consented to findings by FINRA that Mark Schklar violated FINRA rules by recommending and facilitating the sale of shares in a company that manufactured equipment used to grow marijuana without providing prior notice to his employer firm, BB&T Securities, LLC. FINRA found that Mark Schklar ultimately facilitated the sale of 8,000,000 shares of this company to four investors for total proceeds of $285,250. Mark Schklar further consented to findings by FINRA that Mark Schklar made a false representation to BB&T Securities, LLC, on his 2014 Annual Compliance Questionnaire. Mark Schklar’s suspension began on March 20, 2017, and ends on November 19, 2017.
