Mark Hopkins was a formerly licensed financial advisor with American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. According to Mark Hopkins’ BrokerCheck report, Mark Hopkins was barred from the securities industry in May 2019.

According to FINRA:

Mark Hopkins consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Mark Hopkins refused to produce documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation relating to the issues disclosed in his Form U5.

A customer dispute alleging sales practice violations against Mark Hopkins is currently pending. This customer dispute alleges Mark Hopkins solicited $500,000 purportedly for an investment away from APFS and utilized the funds for his own purposes. This customer dispute is pending and seeks $500,000 in damages.
