According to FINRA Brokercheck: FINRA staff made a preliminary determination to recommend disciplinary action for potential violations of FINRA Rules 2010, 2111 and 3310.
Two customer disputes have been filed alleging sales practice violations against Mark Elenowitz.
Customer Dispute 3/17/17: Allegations include failure to complete due diligence. This customer dispute was settled for $400,000.
Customer Dispute 2/8/17: Allegations include failure to complete due diligence and disclosure of commissions. This customer dispute is pending and seeks $1,500,000 in damages.
