JOHN JOSEPH LABARCA BARRED FROM SECURITIES INDUSTRY – GOODMAN & NEKVASIL P.A., MAY RECOVER YOUR INVESTMENT LOSSES
John Joseph Labarca (John Labarca), a broker formerly licensed with National Securities Corporation, was barred in February 2016 from the securities industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). John Labarca consented to findings that he did not cooperate in a FINRA investigation regarding an arbitration claim filed against National Securities Corporation concerning John Labarca’s conduct.
This FINRA disciplinary action against John Labarca followed an arbitration claim against John Labarca and National Securities Corporation, which was filed in March 2015. The claimant alleged unauthorized trading and churning by John Labarca while John Labarca was employed with National Securities Corporation. This case did not settle and proceeded to final hearing. The arbitration panel issued a $345,143 award against National Securities Corporation and John Labarca.
FINRA also reports a prior arbitration claim against National Securities Corporation alleging that John Labarca made an unsuitable investment recommendation while employed at National Securities Corporation. That case was settled for $28,750.
If you lost money on investments with John Labarca, you may be able to recover your losses from National Securities Corporation. This is because National Securities Corporation had a duty to supervise John Labarca.
We would like to discuss the possibility of your retaining our firm to represent you in an arbitration action against National Securities Corporation concerning John Labarca’s conduct. There is no charge for an evaluation of your case. Further, we handle our cases on a contingency fee basis. This means that unless we recover money for you, we charge no attorney’s fee. Unless you recover any money, you pay us nothing, not even the costs and expenses which the firm will advance on your behalf.
