According to Janet Derrick’s CRD, Janet Derrick was suspended by FINRA in May 2019. According to FINRA, Janet Derrick consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that in violation of her member firms’ policies, Janet Derrick accepted more than $70,000 in monetary gifts from an elderly customer of these firms, when Janet Derrick should not have accepted monetary gifts in excess of $100 per year from the customer. The findings stated that during Janet Derrick’s association with the firms, she completed multiple compliance attestations certifying her awareness of both firms’ gift policies.
