JAMES ELROY BURTON JR (CRD#: 5051310), a former registered representative for FARMERS FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS, LLC, in BAKERSFIELD, CA, has a pending investor complaint.  According to Burton’s FINRA BrokerCheck report, Customer alleges he was not made aware of the risks and facts of purchasing Jazzberry Digital Solutions, Inc. non-registered promissory notes leading to financial losses. The sale of these notes was facilitated by RR Burton outside of Firm’s policies and procedures, as he did not disclose this Outside Business Activity to the Firm.

The complainant is requesting $110,000.00 for alleged damages.

Burton Jr., according to FINRA, was subsequently terminated by FARMERS FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS, LLC. The Firm terminated RR’s registration after becoming aware and determining that the RR failed to disclose personal investment in a private securities transaction and activities related to promissory notes as an outside activity, violating FINRA Rules 3270, 3280 and Firm policy.
