According to FINRA, Wayne Brewer consented to the sanctions and the entry of findings that Wayne Brewer participated in an outside business activity without providing prior written notice to and receiving approval from Wayne Brewer’s member firm. FINRA reports that the findings stated that Wayne Brewer form a limited liability corporation (LLC), created and signed an operating agreement, and accepted compensation from two sets of firm customers for planning advice offered through the LLC.
