According to Hartman’s FINRA BrokerCheck report, the customer claim alleges breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, negligent misrepresentation, negligent supervision, breach of contract, churning, excessive trading, fraud and deceit, and unfair business practices/unfair competition. Elaine Hartman and Stewart Ginn of Crosby Investment Group in Santa Maria, CA. sold securities out of a brick and mortar office in the El Potrero Plaza with a sign hanging above the door, “Crosby Group”. The Crosby Group website is no longer operational and customers of the brokers have filed complaints with FINRA arbitration claims.
