Since March 2014, David Benison has been licensed with Suntrust Investment Services, Inc. David Benison was previously licensed with Fifth Third Securities, Inc. FINRA reports that an arbitration claim has been filed during David Benison’s employment with Suntrust Investment Services, Inc., alleging that during late 2014 and early 2015, David Benison made unsuitable recommendations surrounding the surrender of fixed annuities for the purpose of purchasing a variable annuity and three-unit investment trusts. This claim had alleged damages of $99,511 but was settled by Suntrust Investment Services, Inc. for $153,000. FINRA also reports two other settlements of claims that involve David Benison’s conduct.
