From 2009 until 2016, Chuck Correal was licensed with Morgan Stanley. Chuck Correal is now licensed with Harvest Financial Corporation.
FINRA reports that a claim was filed alleging sales practice violations against Chuck Correal. The claim alleged inter alia, that the oil stocks purchased in the claimants account were unsuitable. The claim was settled for $124,000.
FINRA also reports an arbitration claim was filed alleging Chuck Correal invested claimants’ fund in risky and volatile energy stocks, including Seadrill, Inc. Copano Energy LLC, and Interoil, and real estate investment trusts, which were not appropriate for the claimants’ investment goals. The claimant was awarded $110,000. FINRA reports a second arbitration claim was filed alleging Chuck Correal of handling the claimant’s account in a highly aggressive and reckless manner resulting in unnecessary losses. The claimant was awarded $7,500. Both claims also alleged breach of fiduciary duty, suitability, professional negligence, breach of contract, failure to supervise, respondeat superior, vicarious liability and violations of Pennsylvania Unfair Trades Practices and Consumer Protection Law.
