GOODMAN & NEKVASIL P.A, MAY RECOVER INVESTOR LOSSES – CARLOS W. SEDA FORMERLY LICENSED WITH ORIENTAL FINANCIAL SERVICES, CORP.

Carlos Seda was formerly licensed with Kovack Securities (2014-2017), Oriental Financial Services, Corp. (2013-2014), and Santander Securities (2002-2007). FINRA reports that two arbitration claims have been filed while Carlos Seda’s was licensed with Oriental Financial Services, Corp. and Santander Securities, alleging unsuitable investments, overconcentration, fraud, breach of fiduciary, breach of contract, omissions, negligence, and/or misrepresentations by Carlos Seda. These claims were settled by Oriental Financial Services, Corp. and Santander Securities for $85,000 and $35,000, respectively.

FINRA also reports that two more arbitration claims involving Carlos Seda’s conduct with Oriental Financial Services, Corp. are currently pending. These claims allege that Carlos Seda recommended high risk and unsuitable investments and strategies and/or recommended liquidating their holdings and invest in various Puerto Rico bonds, mutual funds that represented unsuitable liquidity and capital risk. The alleged damages for these two pending claims are for $1,000,000 and $432,940.
