Brian Quimby was licensed with Allstate Financial Services, LLC from 2008 to 2014. FINRA reports that Brian Quimby was suspended for three months and fined $10,000. Brian Quimby consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that Brian Quimby participated in private securities transactions. Brian Quimby allegedly solicited two customers of his member firm to invest in alternative investments. FINRA reports that the alternative investment fund was managed by Brian Quimby’s wife but not offered or approved by his member firm. FINRA reports that Brian Quimby falsely stated on compliance questionnaires in 2012 and 2013 that he had not engaged in soliciting, referring or recommending any private security products.
