William Blake McGowan (Blake McGowan) – Financial Advisor/Broker Blake McGowan Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. May Recover Investor Losses

Blake McGowan is a previously licensed financial advisor/broker with MML Investors Services, LLC. According to FINRA, Blake McGowan and suspended from the securities industry for 30 days and fined $7,500 in March 2020.

According to FINRA Allegations:

Blake McGowan consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that Blake McGowan participated in a private securities transaction without providing prior written notice to his member firm. The findings stated that Blake McGowan purchased securities totaling $55,000 in a pooled real estate investment. Specifically, Blake McGowan purchased shares of a company formed to purchase and manage a vacation rental property in Florida. The purchase that Blake McGowan made on his own behalf was outside the scope of his employment with the firm. The findings also stated that Blake McGowan signed and submitted an annual compliance attestation to the firm wherein he falsely represented that he had not made any personal investments that he had not disclosed to it.
