Bertram Courtney Johnson (CRD#: 6816674), a former broker for MERRILL LYNCH, PIERCE, FENNER & SMITH INCORPORATED in Bloomfield Hills, MI, was terminated after allegations made by Johnson’s employing broker-dealer.  According to Merrill Lynch, Misappropriation of client funds are the allegations that led to the termination.

Bertram Johnson was subsequently barred by FINRA. In August 2026, Johnson refused to appear for on-the-record testimony requested
pursuant to FINRA Rule 8210. As a result, he violated FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010 and is barred from associating with any FINRA member in any capacities.
