According to FINRA’s records, Amanda Burnett was discharged from Invest Financial Corporation on September 20, 2016. Invest Financial Corporation reported to FINRA that Amanda Burnett was accused of violating firm policy – accepted a loan from a client.
Subsequent to Amanda Burnett’s firing by NYLife Securities LLC, FINRA investigated Amanda Burnett and brought a disciplinary action against Amanda Burnett. Amanda Burnett was barred from the securities and investment banking industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on May 3, 2017. FINRA reports that Amanda Burnett failed to respond to FINRA request for information.
FINRA reports that an arbitration claim was previously filed involving Amanda Burnett’s conduct with Invest Financial Corporation, alleging that Amanda Burnett purchased a variable life insurance policy that was misrepresented and unsuitable when compared to investment objectives. This complaint was settled.
