James Bylenga was a previously licensed financial advisor with LPL Financial LLC and Comerica Securities in Portage and Kalamazoo, Michigan. FINRA reports that James Bylenga was barred from the securities and investment banking industry in April 2019.

ACCORDING TO FINRA: James Bylenga consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that James Bylenga refused to produce documents and information requested by FINRA during the course of an investigation that commenced after James Bylenga’s former member firm amended his Form U5 reporting that it had initiated an internal review to determine if James Bylenga received loans from his client(s) while associated with the firm.

FINRA reports that a customer dispute involving James Bylenga’s conduct was settled for $210,000. This customer dispute alleged that funds were inappropriately received by James Bylenga as loans.
