On June 13, 2019, FINRA made a preliminary determination to recommend that disciplinary action be brought against Steven Schisler alleging violations of FINRA Rules 2081 and 2010 in that Steven Schisler entered into a Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release that is conditioned on a customer’s agreement to consent to, or not oppose, Steven Schisler’s request to expunge customer dispute information from the CRD system; and violations of FINRA Rule 2010 in that Steven Schisler induced that customer to execute a declaration containing false statements to support his request for expungement; and violations of FINRA Rule 2010 in that Steven Schisler provided false testimony under oath at the expungement hearing.
