Ray Velasco – Broker Ray Velasco Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. May Recover Investor Losses

Ray Velasco a/k/a Raymond Alago Velasco CRD #4867519

Ray Velasco is a previously licensed broker with LPL Financial LLC. According to Ray Velasco’s BrokerCheck Report, Ray Velasco was fined $10,000 and was suspended from the securities industry for 2 years in March 2021.

According to FINRA Allegations:

In February 2017, Velasco submitted to LPL four termination letters that falsely represented that his customers were separated from their employment, inducing the firm holding the customers’ retirement accounts into waiving approximately $10,000 in surrender fees. By this conduct, Velasco violated FINRA Rule 2010. In December 2020, during FINRA’s investigation, Velasco also initially gave false on-the-record testimony regarding the termination letters. Therefore, Velasco also violated FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010.
