Randy Hayes – Financial Advisor/Broker Randy Hayes Allegedly Made Unsuitable Investment Recommendations | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. May Recover Investor Losses
Randy Hayes was licensed with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney from 2009 until January 2016. The State of Washington Department of Financial Institutions Securities Division alleges that Randy Hayes made unsuitable investment recommendations through the purchase of inverse and leveraged exchange-traded funds in a client account. The Securities Division intends to order Randy Hayes to cease and desist from violating the Securities Act of Washington, to deny Randy Hayes’ future securities registrations, and to assess Randy Hayes fines and costs.
FINRA also reports that three complaints and/or arbitration claims involving Randy Hayes’ conduct with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney have been filed alleging unsuitability relating to ETFs. These three complaints and/or arbitration claims all settled with one settling for $250,000.
