Perry Abbonizio Suspended from the Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. is Investigating Perry Abbonizio
Perry Abbonizio was a previously licensed financial advisor/broker with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. FINRA reports that Perry Abbonizio was suspended from the securities industry for four months beginning in March 2015.
According to FINRA allegations:
Perry Abbonizio consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that Abbonizio participated in private securities transactions by soliciting Abbonizio’s member firm’s customers to invest approximately $625,000 in private placements, without the firm’s knowledge or permission. The findings stated that Abbonizio engaged in an outside business activity by referring individuals who were hired by a company involved in the private placements and receiving compensation from the company in the form of shares, without providing notice to the firm.
