VGTel, Inc. Stock – Goodman & Nekvasil P.A, May Recover Your Investment Losses

Edward Durante, a recidivist securities law violator, conceived of a fraudulent scheme to manipulate the stock price of VGTel, Inc., a publicly traded over-the-counter company. VGTel, Inc.’s stock price was artificially inflated from approximately $.25 per share in April 2012 to as much as $1.90. The trading volume was also inflated. Edward Durante pleaded guilty in August 2016 to various crimes relating to VGTel, Inc., including conspiracy, securities fraud, money laundering and perjury.

Edward Durante also bribed three licensed stock brokers Larry Werbel, Sheik Khan, and Christopher Cervino, to sell VGTel, Inc. stock to their clients. Larry Werbel was paid $200,000, Sheik Khan received more than $400,000, and Christopher Cervino received at least $35,000. Larry Werbel recently pled guilty to securities fraud, and Christopher Cervino and Sheik Khan were recently found guilty by a jury of securities fraud.

Larry Werbel worked for Summit Brokerage Services, Inc., Sheik Khan worked for Ameritas Investment Corp., and Christopher Cervino worked for COR Clearing LLC. If you invested in VGTel, Inc. through Larry Werbel, Sheik Khan and/or Christopher Cervino, our firm can help you. You may be able to recover your losses from Summit Brokerage Services, Inc., Ameritas Investment Corp. and/or COR Clearing LLC. This is because Ameritas Investment Corp., Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. and COR Clearing LLC had a duty to supervise Larry Werbel, Sheik Khan and Christopher Cervino.

If you lost money on investments in VGTel, Inc. stock or other investments with Larry Werbel, Sheik Khan or Christopher Cervino, we would like to discuss the possibility of your retaining our firm to represent you in an arbitration action against Ameritas Investment Corp., Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. and/or COR Clearing LLC. There is no charge for an evaluation of your case. Further, we handle our cases on a contingency fee basis. This means that unless we recover money for you, we charge no attorney’s fee. Unless you recover any money, you pay us nothing, not even the costs and expenses which the firm will advance on your behalf.
