Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses – Michael David Charest (Michael Charest) Suspended from Securities Industry and Fired by Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a/ CCO Investment Services Corp.
From 2013 until Michael Charest’s firing in 2015, Michael Charest was licensed with Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a CCO Investment Services Corp. According to FINRA’s records, Michael Charest was fired by Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a CCO Investment Services Corp. on April 21, 2015. Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a CCO Investment Services Corp. reported to FINRA that Michael Charest was terminated due to a pattern of documentation issues identified during the annual compliance review.
Subsequent to Michael Charest’s firing by Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a CCO Investment Services Corp., FINRA investigated Michael Charest and brought a disciplinary action against Michael Charest. Michael Charest was suspended from the securities and investment banking industry on January 31, 2017. FINRA reports that Michael Charest failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of compliance.
FINRA reports that a complaint was filed involving Michael Charest’s conduct with Citizens Securities, Inc. f/k/a CCO Investment Services Corp., with the customer alleging that she was promised that she could get out of the investment with her full principal and that her money would grow to $500,000 if she kept it in for five years. This complaint was settled.
