From 2010 to 2016 Jenee Peters was licensed with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. FINRA reports that an arbitration claim involving Jenee Peters’ conduct with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., was filed in March 2014. The claim alleged negligence, unsuitable recommendations, negligent management of the account, violations of the Ohio Securities Act, and breach of contract. This case did not settle and proceeded to final hearing. The arbitration panel found Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. liable and issued a $14,000 award against Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., Inc.
Prior to this award, FINRA reports that an arbitration claim involving Jenee Peters’ conduct was filed alleging unsuitable investment recommendations, misrepresentation, and omission of material facts while Jenee Peters was with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated. This claim was settled for $175,000.
