FINRA Case #20180572358: On July 30, 2020, FINRA made a preliminary determination to recommend that disciplinary action be brought against Patatian alleging violations of FINRA Rules 2111 and 2010, reasonable-basis suitability; Violation of FINRA Rules 2111 and 2010, customer-specific suitability; Violation of FINRA Rules 4511 and 2010, causing his member firm’s books and records to be inaccurate; Violation of FINRA Rule 2010, unethical conduct for impersonating a customer; and Violation of FINRA Rule 2010, unethical conduct for causing his firm to violate Regulation S-P.
