John D. Craft (John Craft) – Broker John Craft Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. May Recover Investor Losses

John D. Craft (John Craft) CRD #1844174

John Craft was a previously licensed financial advisor with Trustmont Financial Group, Inc. and Cetera Financial Specialists LLC. According to FINRA, John Craft will be suspended from the securities industry for 2 months beginning in January 2021.

According to FINRA Allegations:

Craft consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he effected transactions in a customer’s individual retirement account (IRA) based on instructions he received from the customer’s mother, without obtaining the customer’s prior authorization for the trades or a power of attorney authorizing the customer’s mother to direct trading in the customer’s IRA. The findings stated that Craft executed trades, with a total value of approximately $20,333 in the customer’s IRA. These trades included stock sales liquidating all investments in the customer’s IRA, which generated approximately $10,000 in proceeds that were distributed out of the account.
