David Ray Oakes (David Oakes) – Financial Advisor/Broker David Oakes Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. May Recover Investor Losses

David Oakes is a previously licensed financial advisor/broker with Prospera Financial Services, Inc. David Oakes was previously licensed with Wells Fargo. According to FINRA, David Oakes was suspended for six months in December 2020.

According to FINRA Allegations:

Oakes was named a respondent in a FINRA complaint alleging that he structured cash deposits and cash withdrawals totaling $61,500 for the purpose of attempting to evade federal reporting requirements in that he acted with the purpose of preventing a bank from filing, and intended to cause the bank to fail to file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) reporting a currency transaction in excess of $10,000.
