Christopher Jorgensen was a formerly licensed financial advisor with Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. Christopher Jorgensen was barred from the securities and investment banking industry on May 26, 2017. FINRA reports that Christopher Jorgensen consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Christopher Jorgensen refused to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA.
Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. reported to FINRA that Christopher Jorgensen was discharged on April 4, 2017. Summit Brokerage Services reported to FINRA that the Firm received a verbal complaint from a customer who alleged that Christopher Jorgensen instructed her not to respond to a FINRA inquiry.
FINRA reports that 4 complaints and/or arbitration claims were filed involving Christopher Jorgensen’s conduct, alleging excessive trading, excessive commissions, poor performance, unsuitability and/or overconcentration. These 4 complaints and/or arbitration claims all settled, with the largest settling for $70,000.
