Christian Murray Evans – Financial Advisor/Broker Christian Murray Evans Suspended from Securities Industry | Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses

Christian Murray Evans CRD #6325180

Christian Murray Evans was a previously licensed financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and Highland Capital Funds Distributor.

According to FINRA, Christian Murray Evans was fined $5,000 and suspended from the securities industry for 3 months beginning in July 2021.

According to FINRA Allegations:

Evans consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he engaged in an OBA without providing prior written notice to his member firm. The findings stated that Evans and two partners, who were not associated with a FINRA member firm, started a business to raise capital for small businesses. To conduct this business, Evans formed a limited liability company, and served as its managing member. Evans led the company’s business development and marketing efforts. In addition, in a letter of intent that Evans sent to at least one potential client, he proposed terms for engaging his company, including base and incentive compensation for himself and his partners. The firm’s annual compliance questionnaire instructed registered representatives to identify all of their outside business activities. However, Evans did not identify any of these activities.
