Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses - Nilda Lee Vasey (Nilda Vasey) Formerly Licensed with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation, Barred from Securities Industry
Nilda Vasey was licensed with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation from December 2013 to January 2015. Nilda Vasey was previously licensed with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Nilda Vasey was barred from the securities and investment banking industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on January 23, 2015. FINRA reports that Nilda Vasey consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that Nilda Vasey requested that Nilda Vasey’s member firm customers make their annual firm financial planning fee checks, or wire transfers, payable to herself rather than the firm. The findings stated that Nilda Vasey then electronically received, cashed or deposited the customers’ funds and used the funds without the customers’ knowledge or consent for her own personal use and benefit.
If you lost any money on investments with Nilda Vasey, or if funds were misappropriated from you, you may be able to recover your losses from Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation and/or Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. This is because Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. had a duty to supervise Nilda Vasey.
If you lost money on investments with Nilda Vasey and believe that the investments may have been unsuitable or otherwise improper for you, or if funds were misappropriated from you, we would like to discuss the possibility of your retaining our firm to represent you in an arbitration action against Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation and/or Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. concerning Nilda Vasey’s conduct. There is no charge for an evaluation of your case. Further, we handle our cases on a contingency fee basis. This means that unless we recover money for you, we charge no attorney’s fee. Unless you recover any money, you pay us nothing, not even the costs and expenses which the firm will advance on your behalf.
